Neural Pathways
This refers to the standard arrangement of the neurons throughout the entire length of the human body. As mention in "the neuron" the cells are lined up axon to dentdrite throughout the entire body. Each cell then communicates with its neighboring cells through the transmission of chemical signals across the synapse, or gap between the two cells. There are two types of pathways, ones that bring information to the brain(afferent neurons), and ones that bring it from the brain(efferent neurons). Neurons within the brain are called interneurons.
